The Ashland Strawberry Faire is a free, family-oriented event which promotes the community, celebrates the strawberry harvest and raises funds for Hanover County Public School scholarships and non-profit groups.

Come visit 300 vendors, including arts & crafts, non-profit organizations, food vendors and Hanover County businesses in historic Ashland, Virginia.  The Faire is held on the tree-lined streets of beautiful Randolph-Macon College.

Since 1982, the Faire has relied on community volunteers to run every aspect of the one-day event, which includes a “Strawberry Kids” Parade, Kid Zone, BARKing Lot, Pet Pageant, “Hanover in Action” Pavilion, and Motor Mile. There is truly something for the thousands who attend each year.

Our sponsors enable and support the good work of our non-profit Faire.  Thanks to our sponsors, we have been able to return funds directly into the hands of our community for 40 years and counting!

The Faire is made possible through a partnership with the Kiwanis Club of Ashland.  Did you know that our Ashland Kiwanis Club is celebrating 100 years of service in 2023?  Wow!
