Commemorative banners will be displayed throughout downtown Ashland from October 15 through November 15, 2026. <em>All proceeds benefit <a href="https://vettrack.org/" target="_blank">Vets on Track Foundation.</a></em></p> <p><strong><em>Submissions are due by July 24th, 2026.</em></strong></p> <ul> <li>Honorees must have served in the United States Armed Forces or National Guard</li> <li>Space is limited to 23 banners, which will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis</li> <li>Banners will be displayed from October 15 – November 15, 2026</li> <li>After removal, banners will be available for sponsor pickup</li> <li>Sponsors and their families are encouraged to visit downtown Ashland and share photos through the Downtown Ashland Association website</li> </ul> <p><strong><em>Special Veterans Tribute Events – November 7, 2026:</em></strong></p> <ul> <li>The Hanover Concert Band will honor our Veterans with a patriotic performance at the Hanover Arts &amp; Activities Center at 10:30 am, located at 500 S. Center Street, Ashland, VA 23005.</li> <li>Veterans’ Organizations will have vendor tents at this event to share educational information</li> <li> <p>Local restaurants and coffee shops will feature special menu items honoring Veterans.
